Check out the list of local candidates who are working hard and attracting lots of attention too! During her recent trip to Denton to speak at the University of North Texas, Democratic Gubernatorial Nominee Wendy Davis took time to acknowledge our local candidates who were in attendance and even posed for pictures with three of them: Daniel Moran, candidate for Texas House of Representatives in District 63, Alex Mendoza, candidate for Texas House of Representatives in District 65, and David Heiman, candidate for Judge in District 367.

Other local candidates who were not present but still deserve our attention and support are: Patrick McGehearty running for US Congress in District 24, Emy Lyons  running for House District 64, and Lisa Osterholt running in House District 106.
